The power cell is secured in a heavy-duty housing with rubber isolators that reduce vibration, keeping operations smooth. A proprietary 15-degree tilting mechanism—controlled by hydraulic valves—lets you position posts with ease on varied terrain.
With its driver body positioned two feet closer to the machine than competing models, you benefit from improved down force, maneuverability, and visibility. A standard post guide housing array, offering options for 2”, 4”, 6”, or 8” posts (removable for posts over 9”), plus a choice of domed or flat driver head tools and a 5-ft breaker spike, all constructed from high tensile strength tool steel, ensure the PDX-1000 is built to endure constant use on your skid steer.
Easy to install / hook up on our machine. We have a Kabota and Skid Steer Solutions provided all of the plug and play adapters. Drove pipes into the ground 2 ft using the weight of the machine before we even had to use the hammer feature. Couple of pops and pipe went into the ground like butter
