Engineered with an integrated drive system and a high-torque radial piston motor, the Skid Steer Vortex Stump Grinder converts nearly 95% of your hydraulic energy into real horsepower. Its direct drive system, featuring an oil bath–enclosed hub, eliminates the need for external couplers and the hassle of constant greasing. The asymmetrical, high-strength alloy steel wheel offers excellent visibility while grinding and extends the life of its 12 replaceable cutter teeth, rock guards, and abrasion-resistant wear plates by evenly distributing the workload. Built entirely from A572 Grade 50 high-strength steel and designed to handle stumps 18 inches below ground, the Vortex also features an elongated rubber chip guard to absorb debris impact and minimize wood chip buildup.
