Meet the EX Series Excavator Flail Mower

For work that requires reliable performance and durability, the EX Series Flail Mowers are engineered in two configurations to optimize your machine’s power. For larger excavators, the EX-30 and EX-40 V2 models—at 466 lbs and 616 lbs respectively—offer 30” and 40” cutting widths to clear grass, brush, and material up to 6 inches thick. Spinning at 1900–2300 RPM on an electronically balanced cutting shaft, these mowers provide a smooth, efficient cut down to 1.5 inches off the ground. With 20 heavy-duty Y-Knife flail blades weighing 2¼ lbs each, a curved housing that maximizes cutting capacity and optimal mulching, and reinforced construction with A572 Grade 50 steel and AR400 skid shoes, these models are designed for real-world conditions and built to last.

To further increase safety and ease of use, the EX-30 and EX-40 V2 now come standard with chain guards and our universal rail mounting system. This update makes hook-up simpler across your excavator attachments and adds essential debris protection for operators in tough cutting conditions.
